Game of Chance at Swinton

Harold Frost (15), glass hand, was summoned for playing a game of chance with cards at Swinton on September 23.

He was watch for quarter of an hour by PC Hibbert, the game being banker.

Defendant should have appeared on Monday and when asked the reason why he had not done so, he replied that he thought his mother would do instead of him.

He was fined 10 shillings
