Four Generations Now

Stewart Garry Cooper, ten weeks old now, was more than just a new baby at his christening. He was the fourth generation in a family which has previously only had three.  Stewart Garry is the great-grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Owen Myers of 67 White Lee Road, Swinton.

Mr Myers is 71, his wife Kate is 69. To their eight children and ten grandchildren they can now add a great-grandchild.  The photograph, taken at the christening, shows Stewart Garry with his mother, 21-year-old Mrs. Beryl Cooper, of 53 Park Road, Conisbrough, his grandmother, Mrs. Mabel Brown (43) and Mrs. Myers.

His father is Mr. Richard A. Cooper, son of Mrs. and the late Mr. J. Cooper of Montagu Avenue, Conanby, Conisbrough.
