Drunkenness
John Balmforth, miner, Wath, was summoned for being drunk at Wath on the 8th inst.
P.c. Hyde proved the case and the defendant was fined 5s. and costs.
William Parkinson, miner, of Wath, was summoned for being drunk on the 7th inst.—The officer in the case was P.c. Oxley.
Fined 5s. and costa.
James Harper, miner, of Swinton, was ordered to pay a penalty of 7s. 6d. and costs for having been drunk at Swinton on the 8th inst.
P.c. Hewitt gave evidence.
Charles Hague, miner, of Swinton, was ordered to pay a penalty of 3s. and costs for having been drunk on the 8th inst.
P.c. Hewitt was the officer in the case.
Jamrs Goodwih, miner, of Swinton, was mulcted in a fine of 5s. and coats for having been drunk on the 8th inst.
