Death After Scalds

Albert Crookes (2), son of Jonathan Crookes, miner, of 247, Wath Road, Roman Terrace, Swinton, has died from pneumonia following scalds.

On Thursday, the mother was preparing dinner, when a pot partly filled with hot stew, which had been placed on a chair, was over turned, and the child received injuries to the chest.
