B.A. Degree in History
Mr. and Mrs. A. Price of 4, Crown Street, Swinton will see their only son Mr Frederick Clive Price receive a B.A. degree (second class honours in history) from Lord Woolton at Manchester University today.
Mr. Price, who is 24, is staying at the university for a further year for a teacher’s diploma. He started his education at Queen Street School and entered Mexborough Grammar school from Bridge School, Swinton.
His army service with the Education Corps during the war included two years as Sergeant in Germany, and he was demobilised in August 1948.
He is a member of Swinton Wesleyan Reform Church.
