Mr. T. Irving Pugh, Swinton concrete manufacturer and artist, has two oil paintings in a current exhibition at the R.B.A. Galleries, Suffolk Street, London. The exhibition, organised by the Royal Society of British Artists, was opened by Mr. Edward Halliday, P.R.B.A., on Saturday.

Mr. Pugh had another success and received an award in the “Lust for Life” contest organised by M.G.M. In connection with their film release on the life story of Van Gogh.

Mr. Pugh, seen here at his Swinton studio, is at work on a portrait of Mr. Ted Dobson, of Swinton, well-known among South Yorkshire IronĀ  and Steel Trades.
