An old boy of Swinton National School, A/C. 1. H. R. Walker (21), has been serving in the R.A.F. for 12 months.

He is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. H. Walker, of 27. Rockingham Road. Swinton.

Born in Swinton he was employed by Messrs. Dale Brown’s, Ltd. before joining up. He receives the ” South Yorkshire Times ” each week.
