Cricket County Men At Swinton.

Notts. Professionals Show Fine Form.

Rhodes and John Gunn were in fine form, yesterday, at Swinton, on opposite sides, in a match between teams selected by Mr. W. Hague and Mr. S. C. Ward, of Swinton, and played for the benefit of the Swinton V.C. Fund.

There was “gate” of nearly 3,000. In all, eleven county men took part.

A feature of the play, addition to the batting of Rhodes and Gunn, was the bowling of Wass (Notts), who took ,five wickets for 20 runs.
