Sapper J. Franks (R.E.wireless section) (left in picture), Albert Street, Queen Street Swinton, who has been missing since August, 1917, is now officially reported killed.

His brother, Second Lieutenant Harry Franks (Somerset Light Infantry) (right in picture), is serving with the Egyptian. Expeditionary Force.
