Munitions Worker Found in Canal

The body of a munition worker, named Mary Furness (51), widow, of 49, Queen Street, Swinton, was recovered from the canal, yesterday afternoon. She had been missing since early on Wednesday morning, when she left her place of employment to proceed home by way of the canal towing-path.
