Swinton women’s branch of Rother Valley Conservative Association were among stallholders at a garden fête at Sandbeck Park, home of the Earl and Countess of Scarborough on Saturday.

Here are some of them with Miss F Gillott (at the drum) and (on her right) Mrs S Chester. Lady Lily Serena Lumley presents a beautiful bouquet to Mrs  AH Hamilton, chairman of the Don Valley divisional women’s Conservative Association when she opened the fête.
