Sergeant G Oldfield (York and Lancs)

Sergeant Oldfield, was home on leave last weekend. He arrived on Thursday, and returned on Wednesday last.

He has been in France ten months, and says he has had excellent health, passing through a rough winter favourably. All the “Tommies” are in good spirits and of the opinion we shall achieve success before long.

He enlisted in September 1914.
