The output of coal from the mines of Great Britain for the week ended February 2 was 5,244,900 tons, compared with 4,717,100 tons in the previous week, and 5,601,200 tons for the corresponding period of last year.


The Ben Greet Players will perform “Macbeth” in the Mexborough Secondary School to-night (Friday), and on Saturday morning will give a performance of “The Tempest” for Mexborough school children.
