Mrs. Theophamous moved to Cyprus in May. Her husband is a electronics engineer there. He works away from home quite a lot, so carol thought that Margarets presence would keep her company and asked her mother and father if she could come and live with her indefinitely.
The girl’s father Mr. Ronald Whaley, of 40, Valley Road, Swinton told the “South Yorkshire Times”, this week,”we had no hesitation in letting Carol go, I think it will be good experience for her.
“we appreciate that carol must get lonely having to live alone for long period’s but she should be all right now Margaret is there.
“Of course we will miss Margaret a lot but we will get used to the idea. She was certainly very happy about going.”
Mr. and Mrs. Whaley hope to visit Margaret and carol next October.
