The Pose Perfect

Mr. George Boyd, a native of Jump, has been awarded first prize in the men’s section of the world “posing” competition, in which there were 5,000 competitors. Mr. Boyd, for health reasons had to remove to Blackpool and is now (as the photograph here shows) “a picture of the health.” His mother, was a daughter of the late Mr. J. Skidmore, who belonged to a well-known Hoyland family.
