Three Serving

Two sons and a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. License, of 109, Victoria Street, are serving. Before the war the family lived in Eastbourne, but evacuated to Kilnhurst in 1940, when Arnold (20), who is an Able Seaman, and Ronald, who is an Ordinary Signaller, started work as operatives at Dale Brown Ltd., glassworks, Swinton.

Arnold joined up 18 months ago, and is now on combined operations duty.

Ronald joined up in June and is in training, being top of his class in a recent examination.

Miss Eileen License has been doing war-time nursery work at Rotherham for a year, and hopes to carry on nursing after the war.
