Eighth Army

Here is a picture of Sergeant H. Meggitt (arms folded) of 20, Church Street, Swinton, taken with three comrades from the Rotherham district.  Sergeant Meggitt has been with the Army since El Alamein and is at present in Italy.

He was once reported missing, but later returned to his unit. He has been with the Eighth Army for over three years.
