Mexborough & Swinton Times – Friday 11 November 1932
This photograph of St. Michael’s Church, Swinton, shows the greatly improved entrance at the west end by the erection of a porch and gates at a cost of more than £170, towards which £120 has already been subscribed.
The congregation also intend replacing the brick and wood gable, shown in the picture, with stone, the porch having been designed to allow for this.
