Airman – Drower, Sam – In R.A.F.

Sam Drower has been serving in the R.A.F. for just over a year. He volunteered when he was 18 as a ground gunner. Before joining up he was a blacksmith’s apprentice at Kilnhurst Colliery.

He is the youngest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. Drower and lives with relatives at 78, Piccadilly, Swinton.

He is a native of Swinton and was educated at Fitzwilliam Council School.
