Sapper Ernest Senior (22), youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Senior, of 41. Walker Street, Swinton, has been serving with the Royal Engineers for nearly two years, and prior to joining the Army worked at Baker and Bessemers. Ltd., Kilnhurst.

Born at Swinton. Ernest attended the Bridge Street School and was in the school football team.
